Qodile Shortcodes

Self-contained media shortcodes ([youtube], [vimeo], [video]…), with no theme or Jetpack dependency.

Qodile Shortcodes provides a small set of self-contained media shortcodes, extracted from the beehuge theme so your content no longer depends on the theme (or on Jetpack for [vimeo]). No external dependency, nothing in the admin.

Features

• [youtube]: lazy facade — a poster image, then the YouTube iframe loads on click; no third-party script until the visitor plays.
• [vimeo]: Vimeo embed without requiring Jetpack.
• [video] / [videoflash]: self-hosted and legacy video embeds.
• [source]: attribution / source credit block.

Privacy

The plugin only outputs embed markup; no data is sent to any third party. When a visitor plays a video, their browser contacts the provider (YouTube/Vimeo), as with any embed.
